When you call our office to schedule an appointment, you will speak to an office staff person who will guide you through a telephone intake.
Information collected includes name, address, date of birth, phone numbers where you can be reached, brief reason why you are coming in
for treatment, and insurance information (if you choose to use insurance for payment). Our office staff is trained to match you with a
therapist who has the training, experience, and availability to treat your particular difficulty or issue.
People over 18 need to call for themselves to schedule an initial appointment. For example, we ask that spouses do not call for each other to
schedule an appt. It is very helpful to speak directly to the person who is seeking treatment.
For people under 18, we ask that a biological parent or legal guardian call for the appointment.
Prior to your initial appointment, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes early to complete a patient questionnaire. This helps therapists focus the
entire session to your needs.

Therapists have their own voice mail. If you have a therapist, leave a message and your therapist will try to return the call on the same day if
possible.

During your initial evaluation, therapists will be able to offer some initial impressions for the treatment that follows. Your therapist will discuss
with you if a psychiatric evaluation is recommended. We have psychiatrists on staff that evaluates individuals to determine if medication
would help relieve their symptoms.
