Attention School Administrators/Teachers/Counselors:
We created a dynamic workshop that may be of interest to your school. The workshop is entitiled “Behavioral Health Issues in Children and Adolescents” and is specifically designed for school guidance counselors, teachers, nurses, and/or administrators. The workshop identifies signs, symptoms, risk factors, and important facts about many of the problems facing school children today. Topics include depression, anxiety, ADHD, self-injury, suicide, bullying, and behavioral problems. We provide specific school-based strategies for each topic presented.

Groups
Group psychotherapy is a special form of therapy in which a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to help themselves and one another. Group therapy is a safe and supportive place where you come together with others to share problems or concerns, to better understand your own situation, and to learn from and with each other. This type of therapy can be a powerful agent for change. In studies comparing group psychotherapy to individual therapy, group therapy has been shown to be as effective and sometimes even more effective.
