Project Description

Ms. Fogal received her Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland in 1995. She specializes in substance use disorders, gambling, and codependency, with or without co-occurring mental health issues. Additional areas of expertise include adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, dissociative disorders, grief/loss, LGBTQ issues, major mental health disorders (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder), and tinnitus (ringing of the ears). She works with individuals 18 years and older, using an eclectic approach that includes psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and acceptance-based behavioral therapies, as well as applied relaxation training, hypnosis, and other mind/body interventions. As a pastoral counselor she also works with clients who wish to address spirituality in therapy, always respecting the client’s own faith tradition and spiritual concepts.
