Rita Coyne has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over a decade. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from La Salle University, and she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Widener University. She has gained experience across a variety of settings, including work through different departments within the VA hospital, a community mental health mobile psychotherapy program, in nursing homes, and other care facilities. Ms. Coyne has worked co-facilitating a biweekly telephone caregiver support group to help decrease caregiver stress with veteran caregivers who may be assisting veterans with dementia, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, amputations, Parkinson’s disease, and more. She has experience running weekly groups, as well as providing individual, couples, and family therapy to patients with a wide variety of mental health concerns. She utilizes various therapeutic techniques, including mindfulness. Ms. Coyne sees clients ages 18 and up.
